Salon Cancellation policy.

At Beautorium, we truly value your custom. Your appointments are very important to us. When you make an appointment with Beautorium, the time slot allocated with the therapist is reserved especially for you. We understand that, sometimes, your schedule might change and you will need to change the time and/or date of your appointment or, on occasion, cancel it altogether. So, we respectfully request that you give us at least 24 hours notice should you need to make any changes or cancellations. This can be done during our opening hours by calling the salon or out of hours via our online booking system. We cannot accept cancellations via email or social media. Any cancellations by voice message to salon phone out of hours will be regarded as being cancelled upon salon reopening next day when message was recieved.

We are taking deposits on all treatments at the time of booking. We will be happy to return your holding deposit, provided we are given adequate notice. Unfortunately, should you need to cancel or change your appointment , less than 24 hours before its scheduled time, or you do not show up for your appointment at its scheduled time, we won’t be in a position to refund your deposit. Likewise, if you do not attend for a patch-test that may be required prior to your treatment, you will lose your deposit as the treatment cannot be performed.

Please understand that when you forget about, change or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive our services. We also do not monitor email or social media regularly so messages here can be often overlooked which is why we only accept cancellations via salon phone or online booking system. As a small business, losses like this can result in us being unable to pay our rent, bills and wages.

We know how easy it is to forget about an appointment, especially if it was made weeks or months in advance, so we will confirm all appointments by text 24 hours in advance of the appointment time. However, in the event a deposit wasn’t taken at the time of booking and you either cancel, change or don’t show up for your appointment, a cancellation fee will apply.

  • Less than 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service or non refund of deposit and also 50% amount prepaid for future treatments.

  • No-shows will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount before booking future treatments while a 50% booking deposit will be required for all future bookings.

If you make an appointment within the 24 hour period prior to the appointment time and need to cancel or change, we politely request that you give us at least 4 hours notice or it will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.

Should you wish to book multiple services, it will require a deposit at the time of booking.

By giving us enough notice when you need to change or cancel an appointment, it allows us the time to inform our standby clients of any availability, as well as keeping our scheduled filled.

Academy Cancellation policy.

At Beautorium Training Academy, we truly value your custom.

Our current policy is that all course deposits and fees are non refundable or transferrable on courses cancelled less than 7 weeks before start date.

We also have had to implement a last minute cancellation fee in addition to course fees in order to reschedule follow on course days.

Our last minute cancellations fee applies to days cancelled or rescheduled-

- less than 3 days before follow on days for courses (after initial first day - e.g Day 2 , 3 or 4 etc of courses)

- Cancellations or reschedule less than 14 days for One to Ones, and

- Students that arrive later than 15 minutes after course start time(therefore not able to join the class **depending on course)

- Not providing a model for courses that require one, thus being unable to do course.

All above will incur a €150 rescheduling fee on top of Course fees.

Dependant on the course, occasionally, students may be able to continue with days omitting the missed day and catch up on content at home. Continuation of the course omitting the day will not apply for short courses or workshops and only on ITEC or longer term courses and is dependant on content missed and its requirement to progress with the course content and is at the Academy directors and Class tutors discretion.

Academy Directors decision is final.

Models are essential for some courses - if model is not supplied by students they may not be able to complete the course and the cancellation policy may apply resulting in being charged fee to reschedule date.

Should the course date need to be rescheduled by the academy for any reason, your place and any payments will be transferred to the next available date.

Academy Director reserves the right to review cancellation policy on an individual basis in certain circumstances at their own discretion.

By giving us enough notice when you need to change or cancel a course, it allows us the time to inform our standby students of any availability, prevents unnecessary ordering of course kits as well as keeping our scheduled filled .
